By mid 2012 there was a big rush to purchase blocks of land in the Gateway Industrial Estate.
Despite languishing for a number of years, the Estate has gone ahead in leaps and bounds attracting national and local buyers. New fences and slabs are seen throughout the Estate on a weekly basis.
Businesses with faith in growth of the area include Dick MacNevin, Plantability, Ezibore, NPM, Australian Heavy Haulage and Hassall Auctions, to name a few.
Other businesses who have already set up in this Estate include Pacific National, Eatons, Hilliers Heavy Equipment (Hyundai Earthmoving Equipment) and the Caltex 24-Hour Unmanned Service Station purpose built for B-doubles and Road Trains.
Access for heavy and wide loads to this area when the Gracemere Overpass is completed is seen as a draw card to the Gracemere Industrial Estate.
