The Overpass is keeping within construction time-frames thanks to a prolonged dry period over the winter and heading into the hot summer months.  Completion is still on target for late February.

These photos show QR National passing under the overpass heading west and the overpass as seen travelling east towards Rockhampton on the Capricorn Highway.

Work is progressing well at the Malchi Intersection where traffic lights will control that intersection allowing the safe access to and from the Overpass and the GIA for road trains.
