Workers are on site near the Somerset-Macquarie intersection this week. Connection of the 200 mm diameter water main extension to the existing water supply network will be commissioned tomorrow (Wednesday 28th August). The water main extension runs along Somerset Road from Macquarie Street to the new overpass.

This project is now 95% complete and the section from Macquarie Street to Stewart Street marks completion of another phase in the water and sewerage works within the GIA.
